Catharina Latka
Researcher in food and resource economics
I am a senior research at ZEF , the Center for Development Research at the University of Bonn in Germany. Until September 2024, I have been a postdoctoral researcher at Princeton University's High Meadows Environmental Institute and affiliated with the Environmental Markets Lab (emLab) at University of California, Santa Barbara. My research interest lies at the intersection of food systems and the environment. I study how policies and price shocks affect food security and environmental outcomes, identifying synergies and tradeoffs. In my research I apply econometric and simulation modelling techniques primarily using R. You can contact me per email under clatka[at]uni-bonn.de
